What have I learned today you asked, will it is that you cannot rely on anybody except yourself to make your future secure. In life you have to make sure you have your savings, you cannot rely on kids to take care of you later on in life. Get your house while your young, you cannot assume money will drop in your lap from somewhere. Only you can make sure your future is secure.
This has been preached to me often, now it has become more important. Being half-way to thirty years old, I do not have much time left I must admit. People around me use me for their own devices and mechanisms with brutal efficiency. Surprisingly I cannot get them to do my bidding. To note, I lack the authority that other people wield.
Regardless, I wasted too much time on others, which I should be wasting on myself. Hopefully, it would be great if that time is more productive than wasteful. The pleasures of the world make it hard to make any amount of time on this earth productive. In other news most Rave and ED music say the pleasures are actually productive and you are a square not to participate.
Pleasures give a temporary high of greatness that many people think is a life milestone. It is not, it only give you a false sense of achievement that proves nothing like an unmarketable degree that employers think is useless. Great Scott, that means you have nothing at all.
How can you help anyone in your life, especially people you love when you are not in a position to help them. No one stays beside you for long when you do not have anything to offer. Be like the emperors and lords in old times, build wealth, estates and power. Never toil away your youth for those same emperors and lords.
Make your bread, do not buy it, learn to fish, do not beg to fish. Trust me it is good advice.
