Confidence and Self-Worth

Confidence

You are your best audience. You have to remember only you love yourself the most. You know where the story is going, you know the truth about your situation. You know what you want, you know what is best for you. You, only you, remember that.

Well, that sounded like a narcissist’s manifesto. But confidence is pretty close to narcissism. The only difference between the two is that confidence is high self-worth, narcissism is high self-worth over others.

So overconfidence and narcissism leads often to bigotry and hate. It should be noted that as people we should keep ourselves in check and remember people’s feelings in the grand scheme of our mannerism and devices. We all want to feel great and wonderful but let us not demoralize other people to gain that high feeling of ourselves.

Confidence is something we should all work towards. But with rationale control and consideration, you have to set a healthy limit to your opinion, love, advantage to yourself. It is funny when I think about it, true confidence you only need yourself to make yourself powerful. Narcissism needs a subject to demote in the process.

So if you try too hard to use people to satisfy your confidence it tends to become unhealthy and unstable. Do not get me wrong your friends and family can really help you grow the confidence and self-worth you need in life. But some sense of reality is needed to keep yourself in check. You cannot rely solely off your supporters, remember it is self-worth, you have to believe and set that belief for yourself.

When the supporters are gone, you lose confidence since it depended on them. So self-worth is all about what you think of yourself, that is what it means to have true confidence in yourself. You are, I am, we are a big deal.
