Everyone has dreams, I chased mine and here I am. A fairly successful ghost writer and Dialysis Technician is what I become. It is good to know when you are progressing in life. But progress does not come from dreaming. It comes from hard work.
Me, I have worked very hard to reach where I have. But hard work can be useless as well. Why you ask? You ever heard of working without aim? It makes little sense to work hard unless there is a goal in mind. You make these goals in your dreams, desires and aspirations.
So dreaming is just as important as working hard. The problem for most people is that they do not balance either. You have to because dreaming too much might make you set too many goals or losing sight of the bigger picture. If you work too hard, you will have little time to create or you might exhaust yourself.
So a balance is very important. From your dreams, you must decide how you are going to achieve that dream. Do some research, find out the steps and go about setting those steps to be done. Do not just dream of this and that, never doing anything in the end.
That is the worse crime you can do to yourself. If you dream up something, only let that dream die because you researched and found you do not like it or it is impossible. Work hard towards your dream.
Working hard is not only about working. It also consists of how smart you work, your discipline and resolve. How well you handle obstacles and surprises is paramount to success. Flexibility helps, You must also have dedication towards you dream otherwise you will never achieve it.
Keep moving forward when the going gets tough and it will. That is what resolve is about. You must discipline yourself to keep at it.
We all dream but we must put in the effort to make that dream come true.
